ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Brenda Henning Insurance Agency, Inc is searching for an Office Representative to join our team. State insurance licensing will be required. The position involves helping the agent provide excellent customer service to meet the insurance needs of the agency's clients as well as marketing our products to both new prospects and current policyholders. This includes, but is not limited to, pivoting from servicing transactions to marketing opportunities, setting sales appointments with current and prospective clients, cold calling, and prospecting for additional business within the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position involves helping the agent provide excellent customer service to meet the insurance needs of the agency's clients as well as marketing our products to both new prospects and current policyholders. This includes, but is not limited to, pivoting from servicing transactions to marketing opportunities, setting sales appointments with current and prospective clients, cold calling, and prospecting for additional business within the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responding to inquiries from policyholders, prospects and claimants regarding insurance
- Contacting prospects for quoting opportunities
- Contacting current customers for insurance reviews and asking about additional coverages
- Processing policy changes, updating policyholder records, and taking premium payments
- Assisting in the claim process, including filing claims, uploading documents, and following up for satisfactory resolution
- Working alongside your agency’s team to ensure successful long-lasting customer relations.
REQUIRED: Property/Casualty and Life/Health Insurance Licenses (can be obtained after job offer)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft computer software
- Ability to learn a range of proprietary software related to insurance
- Ability to learn details about a variety of insurance products in order to educate others about insurance
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to relate effectively to customers
- Attention to detail; high level of accuracy
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) helpful

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
